Life is colorful. I am colorful. Art reflects life. My art reflects me.
The Color’s reflected in thread, wire, paper are my my pallet. The colors and textures of thread and wire appear in many of my works. Thread is a small rope of color. Many different elements are used in composing my pieces The wire I use is recycled telephone wire, also reflecting my affinity to the colors of life. Life cannot be taken too seriously. Fun, enjoyment and thought are what I hope to bring in each of my pieces. The subject matter, materials and theme of each of my pieces vary significantly; reflecting life, reflecting belief, reflecting me.
Creating Art for over 25 years, a credentialed ikebana teacher performing demonstrations, exhibits and workshops around the world, I am based in San Francisco. Creating Art from recycled materials is my current quest while focusing on the individual beauty and significance of the elements and the subject.
