Fashion Night Out on Grant Street

Imagine SF Chinatown transformed into a CATWALK! The first-time-ever, one-of-it’s-kind, Chinatown International FashionWeek (CIFW) is coming!

Oct 22 is the CIFW Chinatown Fashion’s Night Out, exciting fashion meet-up will start at 4:30pm at the most photographed part of Grand Ave. Fancily dressed, cinema inspired fashionistas will show off in front of vintage Rolls Royces at the Old Shanghai store (next to Chinoiserie Far East Restaurant) located at 645 Grant Ave. You are encouraged to dress up in your elegant best to join the fashion parade together rocking historical Chinatown San Francisco.

This year’s fashion theme is epic

Inspired by Joan Chen’s movie “Last Emperor,” we would like to invite you and everybody to dress up and join the dynasty !!!

Oct 22 Chinatown Fashion’s Night Out will be highlighted with vintage cars, a RUG motorcycle team, Grant Ave Follies, models and fashionistas in creative costumes.

After the one-hour fashion paparazzi on Grant Ave, Fashion’s Night Out participants will proceed up to the famous foodie alley at Utopia Cafe. Starting at 6pm, more fashionista¬† paparazzi photoshoots with the Chinatown Photographic Society lead by Chinatown’s favorite event photographer Frank Jang.

This year CIFW Fashion’s Night Out vintage car collection is presented by 10-time cable car bell ringing champion Carl Payne. Mandarin Motorcycle Team is lead by Chinatown icon-artist Leland Wong.¬† For Fashionista in dynasty theme is lead by Miss Asian Community Service, Erin Zhao. Grant Ave Follies is teamed by magician Chinatown tour specialist Cynthia Yee. Mouth-watering potstickers provided by Utopia restaurant.
